Austin Spurs Announce 26-27 Regular Season

AUSTIN (Aug. 28, 2026) – The Austin Spurs today announced the team’s 2026-27 season schedule, a 50-game slate with 24 contests in the capital city at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. The NBA G League schedule is divided into two parts, with each team playing their first 14 games in the Tip-Off Tournament that concludes at the 2026 NBA G League Winter Showcase in December, followed by a 36-game regular season that starts immediately after the Showcase and runs through March. Austin’s 2026-27 season is presented by SWBC.

Austin opens the season in the Tip-Off Tournament on the road, visiting the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Nov. 6. The Spurs Home Opener is two nights later when they host Laketown on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 3 p.m. The first 1,000 fans will receive a free reversible jersey with their ticket purchase. In the opening month of the season, Austin will play three more home games against the Memphis Hustle (Nov. 15) and Mexico City Capitanes (Nov. 28 & 29).

Following the Tip-Off Tournament’s culmination at the Winter Showcase, all team records reset for the 36-game regular season. Austin will open the regular season at home on Dec. 27 against the Stockton Kings at 3 p.m. The Spurs will host a back-to-back against the Coachella Valley Lakers (Jan. 9 & 10) before taking on the Rip City Remix (Jan. 15 & 18). The Silver and Black will then host the Oklahoma City Blue (Jan. 20 & 22) and Santa Cruz Warriors (Feb. 3 & 4).

The Austin Spurs will play a game in San Antonio on Feb. 3 at the home of their affiliate, hosting the Santa Cruz Warriors in the Frost Bank Center at 10:30 a.m. before playing the Warriors again the next night on Feb. 4 in Cedar Park. The final month of the season features five Austin home contests – two games against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (March 4 & 5) and Salt Lake City Stars (March 11 & 13) before facing the Valley Suns (March 20) for Austin’s final home and regular season game. At the conclusion of the regular season, the top eight teams in each conference will qualify for the NBA G League Playoffs, which conclude with the NBA G League Finals in April 2026.

ABOUT THE AUSTIN SPURS

Affiliate of the five-time NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs, the franchise was founded in 2005 when the Columbus Riverdragons were sold and relocated to Austin, becoming the Austin Toros before rebranding as the Austin Spurs in 2014.
