“LOVB is entering its biggest season yet, with four new markets, two conferences and more national attention on professional volleyball than ever before,” said Allison Morrison, VP of Growth of LOVB Austin. “Austin has helped set the standard for what this league can be, and we’re investing in that momentum, from our First Serve at Frost Bank Center to a bigger, better game-day experience at the H-E-B Center. We're excited to give our fans and partners even more to be part of this season.”

A CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON AHEAD

Austin's pursuit of a historic three-peat begins Wednesday, December 16, when the team takes on LOVB Nebraska at LOVB First Serve, a special season-opening event at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio scheduled for 7 p.m. CT.

Following the season opener in San Antonio, LOVB Austin returns to the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park for its remaining home matches, beginning Sunday, January 10, against expansion team LOVB Minnesota.

The home schedule features several highly anticipated matchups, including two championship rematches against LOVB Salt Lake on Thursday, March 25, and Saturday, April 10. Austin defeated Salt Lake in a thrilling 2026 championship series to secure its second consecutive league title. The April 10 meeting will also mark Austin's regular-season home finale.

The schedule also features an in-state rivalry matchup against LOVB Houston, bringing another chapter of Texas professional volleyball competition to the court.

A NEW ERA OF LOVB COMPETITION

The 2026–27 season marks a significant step forward for League One Volleyball with the addition of four expansion teams LOVB Minnesota, LOVB Miami, Los Angeles Orbit, and San Francisco Signal.

The league will also introduce Eastern and Western conferences, creating new rivalries and competitive storylines as teams face both conference and interconference opponents throughout the regular season. Joining Austin in the Western conference are Houston, Los Angeles Orbit, Salt Lake, and San Francisco Signal.

With two championships in its first two seasons, LOVB Austin enters the upcoming season looking to continue its winning tradition, defend its place atop the league, and make another run at history.
